Global Rankings

KMR has released region and country level site rankings for 14 major diseases using these key performance indicators: Volume of subjects randomized at the site and Subjects randomized per month by the site. All results are based on site level recruitment information provided to KMR directly by sponsors. For each disease, find out which areas of the globe recruit subjects more quickly and in greater numbers on a per site basis.

The Enrollment Productivity Study provides in-depth analysis of enrollment performance and practices that translate into improvement efforts designed to reduce cycle time and improve productivity. The study examines key recruitment processes including Study Start-Up, Region Start-Up, Site Initiation, and Randomization.

A critical feature of the study will explore how performance differs according to the region where clinical research is performed and whether companies with more experience in emerging markets have made a marked difference on any given company’s ability to accelerate recruitment. Gain insight into how your company performs compared to its peers and the key factors that most influence your company’s recruitment success.

The Site Contracts Report assesses the study start-up process from the site contract and regulatory documents perspective. The study focuses on the following key question: what is the study start-up contract cycle time from distribution of initial draft contract to a clinical site through full execution of the agreement? The framework for analyzing this question is designed to help companies identify key opportunities for improvement. The data will be analyzed from a number of perspectives, such as type of site (independent, institution), study phase, therapy area and geography.

Given the importance of the site contracting process for effective study start-up and rapid enrollment expansion, this study will be invaluable in addressing one of the key rate limiting factors: initiation speed of clinical sites. At the same time, the results will provide participants with a gauge for their performance relative to their peers and help companies pinpoint where changes can be made to improve their performance.

The Clinical Cycle Time Report enables you to understand not only how your company performs in clinical trials but how well your company performs against its peers. The study looks at key performance measures related to standard clinical trial processes such as Study Start-up, Enrollment, Data Capture, Statistical Analysis, and Reporting. It assesses differences in performance using variables such as company size, phase, therapy area, geography, as well as molecule type.

Use this report to benchmark your company’s clinical trial performance, set realistic performance targets, improve overall clinical trial planning, evaluate assumptions made by CROs; and identify ways to reduce cost through shorter, more effective clinical trials.

The Site Metrics Report is designed to assess enrollment performance at the site level. The report helps companies set site performance expectations for a given region or country for a given disease. The study answers questions such as how many subjects should be expected for any given site for a given country and at what rate should randomization occur? Other key performance measures addressed as part of the study include screening and drop-out rates.

The data for all sites is aggregated to the industry level to provide enrollment performance metrics with statistical power driven by an unprecedented sample size that users can employ with confidence. Use the results of this study to evaluate site performance, set realistic performance goals; develop targeted, more reliable recruitment plans; and evaluate assumptions made by CROs.

The Enrollment Benchmark Report measures enrollment performance using a broad based framework of key enrollment processes. Areas such as site initiation, region start-up, screening efficiency, and patient retention are analyzed in addition to randomization performance. And since recruitment is inherently linked to therapy area, all analyses are customized to diseases of focus for your company. The study also identifies how well your company performs in various parts of the world and highlights areas of the world in which your company may be missing opportunities.

This study will benchmark your company’s performance against the industry; aid in the development of more innovative enrollment strategies; evaluate assumptions made by CROs; and help your company conduct trials faster and more efficiently.

The CRO Performance Assessment provides companies with a reliable, confidential and unbiased view of CRO performance for both their own company as well as the Industry. Using data provided directly via sponsor companies, the study uses standard clinical trial performance measures such as study start-up, enrollment, data capture, statistical analysis and reporting to evaluate the performance of CROs.

This study delivers a powerful set of analyses, confidentially comparing data on an array of important issues, such as the role of emerging markets; types of work being outsourced; and whether various sourcing practices have generated measurable benefits in terms of time savings. The study will highlight the difference of CRO performance generated across companies; as well as the difference in performance across all trials. Learn how prevalent outsourcing really is and to what extent these practices have influenced key performance measures.
